It is our mission to promote and advance the art of dance at the University of Washington (UW). We will accomplish this by fostering an active student body which encourages individual, unique forms of expression while achieving a close sense of community within the UW Dance Department. We provide opportunities for such expression in our student dance performances, which give students the opportunity to choreograph, perform, stage, and produce a production. We also provide learning opportunities for students by sponsoring guest master classes by major international figures and local, well respected dance artists.As a student organization, we represent the ideas and voices of the students in the UW Dance Department.
