DSA SCHOLARSHIPS
Every year, DSA gives out scholarships to students for their involvement with and service to the UW Dance Program. The scholarship amount vary from year to year, and the total funds are acquired through DSA events and programs. The UW Dance Program faculty members will select the scholarship recipients based on the list of criteria below.
Scholarship recipient criteria:

Junior or senior standing.

A dance major or minor.

May not be a DSA officer.

May not have previously received a scholarship from the UW Dance Program.

At least a 3.0 GPA in the Dance Program.

A friendly, inclusive personality with leadership qualities.

Involved in the Dance Program by fulfilling at least two or more of the following in the past year:

Participated in/Performed/Choreographed/Teched for any Dance Program show (Dance Majors Concert, Faculty Dance Concert, MFA Dance Concert, Chamber Dance Concert).

Fulfilling a crew requirement makes the activity ineligible to count toward participation, as does performing+choreographing for credit.

Performed in/choreographed for DSA's Influx show.

Stage managing for either of the above.

Participated in the Undergraduate Research Symposium (for dance research).

Participating as a Teaching Assistant for dance courses.

Assisting/interning with a dance faculty member.
